    Cast: The Kitchen Witches
    July 15 - September 5, 2010
Isobel Lomax and Dolly Biddle are two "mature" cable-access cooking show hostesses who have hated each other for 30 years, ever since Larry Biddle dated one and married the other.
When circumstances put them together on a TV show called The Kitchen Witches, the insults are flung harder than the food!
Dolly's long-suffering TV-producer son Stephen tries to keep them on track, but as long as Dolly's dressing room is one inch closer to the set than Isobel's, it's a losing battle, and the show becomes a rating smash as Dolly and Isobel top both Martha Stewart and Jerry Springer!

    Lovers and Other Strangers
by Renee Taylor and Joseph Bologna
    September 9 - October 31, 2010
Critics had a hard time figuring out which of these four comedies about the superiority of women is funniest.
The first introduces a young man who starts to seduce a lady, only to have the tables turned on him. The second involves a married couple who can't figure out whose turn it is to commence love making.
The third opens in a girl's apartment at 4 a.m. when her fiance arrives to tell her he is a nervous wreck and can't go through with the wedding. She gently leads the way back to the wedding route.
In the last, a couple who have fought for over thirty years try to save their son's marriage by confessing their own failings.
    __________

"Very funny and engaging." ~~ Wall Street Journal

    How the Other Half Loves
    by Alan Ayckbourn
    November 4 - December 26, 2010
There are three couples in this play, the men all working for the same firm.
One of the younger men is having an affair with the wife of the oldest, and when each returns home suspiciously late one night - or early one morning - they invent a story about having to spend some time smoothing domestic matters in the home of the third couple.
Of course, the third couple has to show up to put the fat in the fire, but that complication only adds to the fun of this famous farce.
    __________
"A theatrical adroitness as clever as tennis at its best." ~~ N.Y. Times
"You can go into the Royale Theatre stone cold sober and come out a couple of hours later drunk from laughter." ~~ UPI
"A comedy of ingenuity and verve.... A farce of remarkable originality." ~~ Herald Tribune

    2011
    The Dixie Swim Club
    by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope,
    and Jamie Wooten
    January 6 - February 27, 2011
A hilarious comedy about friendships that last forever, with five Southern women who were swimming teammates in college reuniting each year at the same beach cottage in North Carolina.
The laughs are contagious as these women rely on one another through the years to bring laughter to whatever life flings at them through the years, including the challenges of men, sex, marriage, parenting, divorce and aging.

    Sex Please, We're Sixty
by Michael Parker and Susan Parker
    March 3 - April 24, 2011
This witty American farce written by Florida-based playwrights Michael and Susan Parker takes a look at what happens when there is a mix-up in libido boosting pharmaceuticals in a clever storyline sure to entertain and enlighten anyone's thinking about the sexual prowess of all the sixty-plus citizens among us.
Set in a bed and breakfast vacation location, the characters include a retired chemist who comes up with a little blue pill designed to ramp up cooled amorous desires in menopausal women and a next door neighbor who has earned the name "Bud the Stud."
The play takes on tricky twists when hot flashes, tears and crazy reactions start to appear in the men! Enjoy non-stop laughter as we are reminded that 60+ is indeed sexy!

    Don't Dress for Dinner
    by Marc Camoletti,
    Adapted by Robin Hawdon
    April 28 - June 19, 2011
Hoping to spend the weekend in the country with his chic French mistress, Bernard has packed off his wife to her mother, arranged a cordon bleu chef, and invited his best friend along as an alibi.
It's foolproof.  What could possibly go wrong?  Well ...
A hilarious farce occurs as Bernard and Robert try to improvise their way out of confusion after confusion!
